The Santa Cruz Design + Innovation Center will be holding a panel discussion and networking event at Johnson Art Studio, 1055 17th Avenue, Santa Cruz, on the 29th October, beginning at 6:30 pm. The panel will consist of Annie Morhauser of Annieglass, Roy Johnson of Johnson Art Studio, and Jim Gentes, founder of Giro Helmets. All will talk about the problems and rewards of moving from individual craftwork or design production to running a design-based manufacturing business.
